Dr. Asteria Ngaiza is a senior lecturer at the Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. She has been secretary to the committee of deans and directors since 2012 and the head of the Department of Human Capital Management and Administration.

Similarly, Dr Asteria Gabriel Ngaiza holds PhD in Linguistics from Annamalai University, India. Dr. Ngaiza works at the Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) as a researcher, consultant and lecturer, specialising in teaching communication skills and editing academic and non-academic works. Her other areas of specialisation include education management, language assessment and evaluation, and discourse analysis.

She is also competent in doing translation and research methods for linguistics; others include advanced syntax phonology and morphology and education leadership. Dr. Asteria has supervised and examined several postgraduate and numerous undergraduate research. Besides, Dr. Ngaiza has published and co-authored several articles in international and peer-reviewed journals. She is a passionate teacher eager to share her expertise with her colleagues; she is good at counselling and exercising the knowledge acquired from her studies well.

She is also a content creator and training organiser; with these skills, Dr Ngaiza has organised several trainings that have impacted the University and the the surrounding community.
