Mataba Lucas Dudumila is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microfinance and Banking at Moshi Co-operative University. He holds a PhD (community banking) from Sokoine University of Agriculture. He also holds an MBA (Finance) and B. Com (Finance) from the University of Dar-es-Salaam.  He has published widely in banking, savings and credit co-operative societies, microfinance management and social security practices. He is an experienced trainer, researcher and consultant demonstrated by 32 years of full-time training, research and consultancy services in business management, banking and microfinance areas., Prof Mataba is self-motivated, diligent and result oriented. Throughout his career, Mataba Lucas Dudumila has worked as an instructor in the areas financial modelling, microfinance and business planning and has served as Head of Department of Banking and Finance for more than ten years. He has written several training resources including the Financial Systems Management which is a useful reference material for Microfinance and Enterprise Development students.   He believes in teamwork and feels good in helping others to succeed. Mataba Lucas Dudumila is recognized for upgrading the Professional Financial Management Project into three training programmes (Post Graduate Diploma in SACCOS Management; PC-SACCOS and FC-SACCOS) at MoCU some of which have been scaled up as training programmes in Uganda and Eswatini countries. Apart from his professional pursuits, Mataba Lucas Dudumila is passionate about helping young people to realize their potential.
