SALUA HAJI OTHMAN is an assistant lecturer in the Microfinance and Banking department at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). She holds a master’s degree in social Protection Financing from the University of Mauritius (UoM), Reduit, Mauritius, and a bachelor’s degree in social protection from the Institute of Finance Management, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Ms. Salua has teaching experience of 10 years in the areas of social protection, micro-insurance, and microfinance. She has also participated in research and consultancy activities in the same fields. Ms. Salua has also been a program coordinator for six years and Acting Head of Department for two years. Currently, Ms. Salua is a PhD student at the Institute of Housing and Human Settlement, Ardhi University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
