Ms. Mariam Hashim Mbonyo is an Assistant Lecturer at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), teaching co-operative courses under the Department of Co-operative Development and Management. Ms. Mbonyo holds a Master’s Degree in Co-operative and Community Development (2019-2021) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Microfinance and Enterprise Development (2016-2019), both from MoCU. Her areas of expertise are co-operative and community development, SACCOS management, accounting and microfinance, and project planning and management. Apart from teaching various programmes at the university, Mbonyo is also engaged in research activities including conducting strategic research titled “Emerging Social Media Associations in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Co-operative Development in Tanzania” funded by MoCU. In addition, Ms. Mbonyo participates in various consultancy assignments.
