Said Nassoro Said is an assistant lecturer in the accounting and finance department at Moshi Co-operative University. Said area of expertise includes computerised accounting system, advanced Excel, financial reporting, and auditing, all supported by a solid knowledge of IFRS and IPSAS. Said bring a unique blend of academic and practical expertise to accounting.

Said holds a Master of Business Management degree earned in 2019 from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) and a Bachelor of Arts in Co-operative Management and Accounting from MoCU in 2017. Additionally, he obtained a Diploma in Co-operative Management and Accounting from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in 2014, and a Certificate in Co-operative Management and Accounting from SUA in 2012. Said’s academic achievements extend to his professional qualifications. In 2023, he acquired the Certified Professional Banker qualification from The Tanzania Institute of Bankers (TIOB), Diploma in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA-T) designation obtained in 2018 from the National Board of Accountant and Auditors (NBAA). Currently, Said is furthering his professional development by pursuing CPSP II from the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB). His diverse educational background reflects a commitment to excellence in both academic and professional spheres.

Said, with a robust background in co-operative training centered around financial reporting, taxation, and co-operative management, is not only an adept trainer but also actively contributes to transformative initiatives. His notable engagement as a financial analyst in developing the Shared SACCOS Core Accounting System, alongside UBX and SCULLT, underscores his role in advancing co-operative financial systems2.
