CPA Allan Sethiel is a Professional Accountant and expert in Finance holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). He is currently working as a Lecturer (Accounting, Auditing and finance) at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) and he is responsible for training, research and consultancy in the field of accounting, auditing and finance. Before joining MoCU, from 2001 to date, he has been working as an Auditor with Cooperative Audit and Supervision Corporation (COASCO) 1991 to 1996, as Lecturer at Masoka Management Training Institute (MMTI) from 1996 to 2001. CPA Sethiel has held various positions: Head of Accounting Department (MMTI); Head of Consultancy Services Department, Deputy Director Bureau of Consultancy Services, Coordinator of consultancy services Bureau of Consultancy services. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice. He has experience in cooperatives for more than 20 years as a member, trainer, researcher and consultant.

His research and consultancies include advisory services and training in cooperative, governance, cooperative microfinance including SACCOS. Other areas include but not limited to Auditing and finance management, Co-operatives management and practices, strategic planning.
