Mr. Mussa Robert Matundwe is the Tutorial Assistant, Researcher, and Consultant at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) under the Department of Co-operative Development and Management (CDM). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Co-operative Management and Accounting from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), Diploma in General Agriculture from Ilonga Agricultural Training Institute, and currently, he is pursuing a Master of Arts in Co- operative and Community Development (MA-CCD) at MoCU.
Matundwe has been an employee in public service for over ten (10) years before joining MoCU in April 2022. He worked at Pangani District Council Tanga (2012-2014) as an Agricultural Officer and Serengeti District Council Mara (2014-2022) as a Co-operative Officer under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Co-operative where his responsibilities involved providing extension services, and supervising, inspecting and managing Co-operative Societies at the District level. Also, he was part of the coordinating team for various consultancies undertaken by international and local consultants for Co-operative development. His key current duties include training, research, consultancy, and offering community services.
His main areas of competency include; Co-operative Development and Management; Leadership in Co-operatives; SACCOS Management; Economics of Co-operative Business Enterprises; Agricultural Marketing Co-operatives Management; Agricultural Economics and Planning; Marketing of Agricultural Products; Co-operative Corporate governance; Project Design and Management in Co-operatives; and Extension Methods.
