Dr. Nkuhi is a senior academic at the Department of Law, Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). He is also a researcher and consultant. He holds the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Law Degree of the University of Mysore, India. He is also a holder of the degrees Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from University of Dar es Salaam, and Mzumbe University respectively. Dr. Nkuhi is also a holder of Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Law School of Tanzania). He is an advocate of the High Court and Courts subordinate thereto. He has been in service since 2010. He has been involved in teaching, research, consultancy and legal practice in diverse facets. Dr. Nkuhi has participated as a team member and successfully executed several consultancy undertakings, nationally and internationally. The undertakings are ones on legislative making/reforms; strategic planning; institutional governance instruments preparation/review; and development strategies preparation/review.  Some of the undertakings include Preparation of the ICA-Africa 10 years Development Strategy (2023-2023); COMESA/EU consultancy for review of co-operative policy and legislation for the Kingdom of Eswatini; and the ILO consultancy for the preparation of co-operative societies regulations for Zanzibar. Dr. Nkuhi has researched and published multiple scholarly pieces of writing in the areas of co-operative policy, legislation as well as human rights of workers. Moreover, Dr. Nkuhi is a trainer in policy and legislative issues relating to co-operative policy, law and working conditions and workers human rights. Administratively, Dr. Nkuhi has served and continues to serve in various posts. He was the Chairperson of the MoCU Staff Integrity Committee and Member of the Judicial Body (Federation of International Students Association, Mysore). He had also served as the Honorary Secretary to the MoCU Staff Association (MoCUASA) and member to the University Senate, University Workers Council and the Council of the Academic Staff Association for Public Universities and Colleges of Tanzania (ASAPUCT). He is the incumbent Head of Department of Law and Secretary to the Kilimanjaro Region Advocates Committee. He is also an active member of the Tanganyika Law Society (TLS) and the East African Law Society (EALS).
