Ms. Florida Neema Lucas is an Assistant Lawyer, in the Department of Laws at Moshi Cooperative University, MoCU (https://www.mocu.ac.tz), one of the top-ranked Public Universities with reputable accreditation in Tanzania. She holds a Masters of Laws (LL.M_ with distinction from the University of Dar es Salaam (https://www.udsm.ac.tz) in Tanzania; a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree from Saint Augustine University of Tanzania – Ruaha University College (https://www.saut.ac.tz) and a Diploma in Laws from Mzumbe University (https://www.mzumbe.ac.tz). Florida has over 12 years of undisputed practical experience in the field of legal training, research, and consultancy, with extensive experience in administration of tutorials and class lecturing, as well as insightful engagement in academic dissertations, theses and research supervision. She has been comprehensively involved in the administration of lectures in law courses, ranging from; Introduction to Laws, Legal Systems and Constitution, Administrative Laws, Business Law, Laws of Contract, Insurance Law, Cooperative Law, Company Law, Laws of Torts, Law of Evidence, Family Laws, Law of Probate, Law of evidence and Jurisprudence, to mention a few. In exploitation of her skills and competencies, she has, at many occasions, been contracted as internal examiner and external moderator for law subjects at the University and Professional Boards examinations respectively. Florida has been severally involved in affording expert opinion in several legal consultations and interventions at both Institutional and national level. One of her remarkable recent contributions is exhibited through her direct participation to the review of the National Environment Management Act No. 20 of 2004, as well as her regular engagement in review and development of the curriculum for legal education at various tertiary Institutions. just completed development of the proposed curriculum for Master of Laws (LL.M) Program for Moshi Cooperative University, stands her vivid engagement. As an expert in Corporate and Commercial Laws, Florida has been widely contracted in drafting and provision of legal opinions to several private businesses in Tanzania. She currents seats in the advisory Board for LSB Enterprises Ltd, a Conglomerate establishment in cargo Transportation and Logistics in East Africa. Florida holds unwavering curiosity to pursue PhD in Laws and is specifically enthusiastic of advancing her career in the field of International Investment and Economic Laws.
