Oscar Petro Mgaya is currently an Assistant Lecturer in community development, participatory development, in the Department of Community Development and Gender at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). Oscar worked with Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP) as Examination coordinator, Compassion International Tanzania (CIT) as project coordinator. Oscar also worked with the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP) as part-time Ass. Lecturer in the field of development studies and community development planning for more than four years. Oscar currently is working at Moshi cooperative university at where he is teaching subjects such as Theories of development, Participatory community development, Community economic development, Gender and development.  Oscar is also working as a head of Research and Field Practical unity under the directorate of Undergraduate Studies.
