Ms. Catherine is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Law Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU). She holds a Masters in Information Communication Technology Law (LLM-ICTLAW) from the University of Iringa (UoI) in Tanzania, and a bachelor of Laws from Ruaha Catholic University (RUCU) in Tanzania. She has over five years of undebated practical experience in the field in legal training, research and consultancy. She is an expert in administration of tutorials, lectures, consultancy and seminars. Also, she is engaged in research writing and supervision. She is an expert in teaching different legal courses including, Human Rights Law, Business Law, Banking Law, Criminology and Penology, Family Law, and so many other legal courses and those related to. Before joining MoCU, she was aa member of staff at Ruaha Catholic University (RUCU) in Iringa, where she joined as a tutorial assistant but later after completion of her masters was promoted to Assistant Lecturer. She has been part of different academic and legal activities, including, participating in the GIZ Initiative for Promoting the Rule of Law and enhancing the Judiciary: A Workshop on Enhancing Legal Aid Clinics: Best Practices and Intergration with Law school Curriculum held at University of Dar es Salaam. Participating in a Master Class in Intellectual Property and ICT held at Ruaha Catholic University. Organizing member and secretary of the 1st and 2nd International Conference on Tourism held at Ruaha Catholic University. Coordination and organization of Ruaha Catholic Law Society and Legal aid activities. Participation in the IHL Competition in 2018 and many other relevant activities. Ms. Catherine is an ambitious and passionate young scholar with an outstanding interest to pursue her PHD in Laws in advancing her career and knowledge in ICT Law and Protection of data.
