Bachelor of Laws (Legum Baccalaureus, LL.B) is a three-year degree program offered in English language under the Department of Law. Our Department is known for intensive and high-quality teaching of legal education that carters for the need of national and international labour market by offering variety of legal courses pertaining to domestic and international law courses. MoCU has peculiarity of teaching Co-operative law.

LL.B is designed to prepare professional lawyers to work in different settings as Advocates, Corporate Counsels, Lecturers, Courts and other domestic and International Judicial and Quasi Judicial Bodies’ as Judges, Arbitrators or Officers. LL.B aims at building a global society governed by the rule of law hence we prepare our students to become leaders of their communities where they can promote the law and its principles effectively. Above all, the University offers Legal Clinic Services through Staff and students established Legal Aid Clinic Centre.

Applications for admissions can be done online every academic year between July and September. The eligibility criteria are Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or equivalent with passes in at least five approved subjects, and at least two principal passes, and a total of at least 4.5 points in relevant subjects in the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or Diploma in Law, or any other relevant diploma from accredited/ recognised institution.
