Program Overview

This programme is designed to meet the needs of learners, future employees, and employers in the field of Microfinance Management. The holder of an Ordinary Diploma in Microfinance Management (DMFM) is enabled to apply skills and knowledge in a broad range of work activities in microfinance, most of which are non-routine. This makes the graduate of DMFM an asset to any organization, contributing effectively to both personal and organizational productivity.

Specific Objectives

The specific objectives are to:

General Entry Requirements

  • A minimum of three principal passes in relevant subjects at A-Level, such as Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, or Mathematics.
  • Equivalent qualifications, such as a recognized diploma in finance, banking, or related fields, are also accepted.
  • Applicants with strong skills in financial analysis, customer relationship management, or micro-lending will have an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English is required for all applicants.
