The Department of Microfinance and Banking plays a vital role in teaching, research, and consultancy within the microfinance and banking sectors. The department currently offers three undergraduate programs: the Certificate in Microfinance Management (CMF), Diploma in Microfinance Management (DMFM), and Bachelor of Microfinance and Enterprise Development (BMFED). Additionally, it provides a Postgraduate Diploma in Savings and Credit Co-operative Societies Management (PGD-SACCOS) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). These programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the dynamic field of microfinance and banking.
