Mr. Shadrack Philemon Mbilinyi is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Information and Communication Technology. He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology (2019-2022) from Mzumbe University in Tanzania and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information and Communication Technology (2012-2015) from Moshi Co-operative University in Tanzania. His areas of expertise are Machine Learning, System Development, System|Business Analysis, ICT4D, Cloud Computing, and Information System Management.

With 7 years of experience in academic arena and being a dynamic scholarly person, Mr. Shadrack serves as an Assistant Distance Education Coordinator of the Professional Financial Co-operative Management Programmes (PFCMP) and Correspondence Unit under the Department of Distance Education (since April 2023 to date). He has also served as an Assistant Examination Coordinator under the Faculty of Business and Information Sciences (2022-2023), and the ICT Project Coordinator of the Department of Information and Communication Technology (2018).

Throughout his career, Mr. Shadrack has been involved in research, teaching non-degree and undergraduate programmes, and participating in community and consultancy services.

Apart from his areas of expertise, Mr. Shadrack is also passionate about Co-operatives Operations and Supervision.
