Massambu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Microfinance and Banking under the Faculty of Business and Information Science (FBIS) at the Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). He holds the Postgraduate Diploma in Co-operative Business Management (PGD-CBM) from the then Moshi Co-operative College and MBA in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Deemed University. He was employed by the then Moshi Co-operative College about 25 years ago and has been service since then. He has served the university in various senior positions. Such positions include that of the Head of Administration Information Communication Technology Department, Chief Accountant, Deputy Director of Human Resource Development and Administration, and Director of Administration and Human Resource Management (DAHRM). Massambu has also offered his service to the Public through working with various Boards, Committees and Teams of experts. Massambu has been involved in teaching, research and consultancy services. His vast experience in international business finance, financial management, business management, co-operatives, globalization, entrepreneurship and competitive business strategies also comprehends the handling the non-contentious matters. Massambu has carried out various consultancies on the areas of co-operative, finance, business strategic, governance policy and cross cutting issues. He has also published extensively on area interested including co-operative, finance, business management and cross cutting issues. Currently, he is the Director of Administration and Human Resource Management of the Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU).
