Dr. Bikolimana G. Muhihi is a Senior lecturer in the Department of Community Development and Gender. He holds a PhD in Community Development and Project Management. Dr. Muhihi has won various awards including DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) for in-country scholarship and Summer School at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Dr. Muhihi has published research articles in various reputable journals indexed in the Web of Sciences. Dr.Muhihi’s areas of prime expertise include Education, Community Development, Project Planning and Management, Impact Evaluation for Rural Projects and Programmes, Resource Mobilization, Rural Energy Assessment, and Co-operatives in Modern Rural Development. Dr. Muhihi has served as the editor of the East African Journal of Social and Applied Sciences (EA-JSAS) and as a reviewer for the Journal of Co-operative and Business Studies (JCBS) and EAJ-SAS at different times. In the realm of research, Dr. Muhihi navigates seamlessly between the intricate domains of Quantitative Research, employing advanced techniques such as Multivariate Second-Generation Models (PLS-SEM/PM and CB SEM), and the landscape of Qualitative Research. Beyond academia, his versatile skill set extends into leadership, interpersonal dynamics, collaborative teamwork, meticulous planning, analytical aspects, and effective problem-solving. Currently, Dr. Muhihi serves as the head of the Quality Assurance Unit at Moshi Co-operative University underscoring his unwavering commitment to ensuring and elevating the institution’s academic excellence.
