Ms. Edina Obed Mgunda is working as an assistant lecturer in the department of Community Development and Gender (CDG) at Moshi Cooperative University. Ms. Edina obtained her undergraduate degree in sociology (2012) from Saint Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) and her master’s degree in social welfare from Daejeon University in South Korea in 2019. Prior to working at MoCU, Ms. Edina had various experiences, such as one year of teaching experience as a social work part-time tutor at Saint Thomas Institute of Management and Technology (STIMAT), working with Health Promotion Tanzania (HDT) as a youth leader for health, and leading and supervising the implementation of various projects about youth, education, and gender at the Center for Counseling Nutrition and Health Care (COUNSENUTH). Ms. Edina is eager to leverage her strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to assist in teaching and research activities as an assistant lecturer. She is a collaborator with a passion for fostering a positive and engaging learning experience for students. Ms. Edina believes that her diverse background and commitment to student success will contribute significantly to the academic community at MoCU. By integrating innovative teaching methods and real-world applications, she aims to inspire her students and encourage them to pursue their academic and professional goals.
