Kauthar Kassim Suleiman is a Tutorial Assistance of Social Work at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), in the Department of Community Development and Gender. She holds a Bachelor Degree of Social Work from Zanzibar University (2016). Currently, Kauthar is pursuing masters in Social Work at Institute of Social Work.

Kauthar has worked on various facilitation, supervisory and community services with Zanzibar National Council for People with Disabilities, Save the Children and ZASWA. She has conducted various guidance and counselling session with different people at One Stop center and HIV/AIDS prevention unit at Mnazimmoja hospital Zanzibar in 2015. Also she has been engaged in sign language translation activities during National election of 2015 and the repeated election of 2016 in Zanzibar. She has also attended in various child protection conferences, conducted a pilot research on air Financing Assessment of Financial Barriers to Accessing Education and Protection for Children in Poor Household with save the Children in 2017.
