Mr. Laurine H. Kilemwa is a holder of a Master of Science in Development Policy from Mzumbe University, Tanzania (2012); a Bachelor of Environmental Planning and Management from the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP), Dodoma, Tanzania (2008); and a Full Technician Certificate (FTC) of Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT), Tanzania (2001). His expertise includes development policy analysis; participatory development planning; public and private sector engagement; development theories analysis; project planning, monitoring, and evaluation; gender and development planning; governance; applied social science research; and Environmental and Social Impact Assessment.
Kilemwa works as an Assistant Lecturer at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), teaching various courses under the Department of Co-operative Development and Management (DCDM). Mr. Kilemwa before joining MoCU, worked with three different District Councils for more than nine years cumulatively.
Mr. Kilemwa, as a Researcher and Consultant, conducted several consulting assignments and community services with national and international organizations such as the SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in Tanzania, Oxfam Tanzania, and CIMMYT Ethiopia. He also worked with the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) as a Resource Person in various short course programmes.
