Assistant Lecturer


Nivece Regniphaldo Kinemo is an Assistant Lecturer at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), teaching courses on Social Work and other related modules. She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Institute of Social Work in Dar es Salaam. She also holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from the Institute of Social Work-Dar es Salaam. Her research interests include Elderly Economic Empowerment, Gender Equality, Empowerment of Adolescent Girls and Young Women and Child Protection.

She has different working experiences of working both in Public and Private Organizations by playing several roles such as Research Assistant, Counsellor, Educator and Project Coordinator. She worked as a Research Assistant under PREPTA Project at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), also under RESILIENT Project at the Institute of Social Work –Dar es Salaam. Furthermore, she did Apprenticeship program at Tanzania Child Welfare in Dar es Salaam, Project Coordinator of SAUTI YA BINTI Project under Kasole Secrets Company and Counsellor on HIV/AIDS related issues at Tanzania Youth Alliance (TAYOA). Nivece advocating on the rights of marginalized groups, especially people with disabilities, children and elderly to facilitate accessibility of their required needs for survival.
