Short Biography

Mr. Sambuo is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Statistics. He holds Diploma in Education from Monduli Teachers College; BSc in Applied Statistics and MSc Economics major in Project Planning and Management both from Mzumbe University (MU) Tanzania. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. by Thesis at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). Mr. Sambuo has been in service since 2011; first as a Tutorial Assistant and was promoted to the position of Assistant Lecturer in 2014 and to a Lecturer in 2017. Since his first appointment, he has been involved in teaching, research and consultancy. Administratively, Mr. Sambuo served in various capacities. He served as the Coordinator of Cooperative Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (CEIC) of the University. He also served as Ag. Assistant Admission Records and Examination Coordinator of the then Moshi Co-operative College of Business Studies and served as the Chairperson of the Committee for establishing Convocation of the University Alumni. Mr Sambuo has published various papers and participated in the various consultancies in the areas of Cooperatives Economics, Advocacy Research, Policy formulation and Agribusiness Dialogues.
